More often if not from the thugs and the abusers it is from the end of the general public like me and you which contributes to the worst treatment meted out to Pitbulls. Either way these petty dogs get the dark end of the stick, when is this going to end? And who is going to take the step to stop this abuse and leave these dogs to live their own lives in solace. It is not going to change the way it is because the real problem and fear has to be first cleared off from the peoples mind before we move forward taking steps. May be it could take us time to resolve this but commitment is most vital and will prove successful in the long run.

Commitment to improve the life of fellow species will only give us satisfaction and truthful intent to live democratically as on true humanist. Problems are only there for us to resolve and take part into things long neglected. It shouldn't be a cause of our generations to come to describe us as ignorant and abusive people, when we know we are not but for the only reason of apathetic attitude towards the most faithful of human friends which are dogs.

We set impossible expectations on our dogs and for the most part, they live up to them

Do not set impossible expectations, you need to know what your pet needs from you if you don't chances are you will get annoyed with your pitbull in a less time than longer. Continue the same work you do to start with how you do with a newborn when you bring a Puppy or pet. Unless you give them what they want you cannot get anything out of them as desired.
